The close of escrow is just a point in time during my relationship with clients. It is by no means the end.
I always call my clients after they’ve completed their move just to make sure everything with the house is absolutely as they expected. If it is not, I make myself available to solve whatever needs to be done.
- I have waited for cable companies to arrive at buyers’ homes so they don’t have to take time off work.
- I call home warranty regional managers if necessary to schedule tradespeople to correct covered items within the policy that I provided to a buyer.
- I have mediated between builders and buyers for repairs such as leaks, and other drainage issues.
And of course I am always happy to pass along a list of qualified tradespeople to clients that I have used over the years through which they can make their own desired improvements.
