Making Your Transaction Seem Effortless
One major key to making real estate transactions seem effortless for my clients is the depth of my communication, both with them and the other parties involved. The other is my ability to stay calm and focused in the moment.
I’d like to illustrate with just a couple of transactions which I know my clients were particularly pleased with:
I sometimes represent both a buyer and seller on the same property. In this case the buyer was requesting items to be corrected through their inspection contingency. After sitting down with the sellers and going through the list item by item, they agreed to some and realized that they would probably be correcting a number of the items for themselves if they were not selling the house. In the end, everyone’s goals were achieved, with both the seller and buyer feeling great about the transaction after it was completed.
In another instance, I represented buyers who traveled frequently and who happened to be in town only one day during our escrow period. In this situation, scheduling of inspections was crucial. I was able to complete the inspections in advance of the 24 hours that the buyers were in town. I then re-scheduled each tradesperson to come back individually to meet with the buyers to review their reports and explain their findings. The buyers said it was the smoothest real estate transaction they'd ever had.
