Glenview / Oakmore Neighborhood - Oakland, California

Most of the homes in Glenview and Oakmore are bungalows from the 1920's and 1930's. Long-time residents typically put great effort into restoring their properties with gardens, beautiful built-in cabinetry, hardwood floors, and modern kitchens.

Parks, trees, and friendly neighbors are the hallmarks of the Glenview / Oakmore neighborhood. The neighborhood is centered around assorted mom-and-pop shops along Park Avenue, including a hardware store, dry cleaner, and taqueria. The larger shopping districts of Montclair and Lakeshore are a medium walk or short drive away.

There is easy access to Interstate 580 and Highway 13, depending on which direction you drive on Park, and terrific local and regional parks are quite close.
