Centered around College Avenue between Broadway and Claremont, Rockridge defines small town living with all the advantages of an urban area. Rockridge BART serves as a major transportation hub for City commuters.

Myriad shops and restaurants line College Avenue, including:

Restaurants - A Cote - Ben & Nick’s – Citron – Cactus – Crepevine - Garibaldi’s – Oliveto’s – Pearl – Soi Four …for a full list, see the directory at rockridge.org.

Much of Upper Rockridge was damaged by the Oakland Hills fire of 1991, so many of the homes in Upper Rockridge feature contemporary floor plans and details, while still being located in a desirable older neighborhood. Lower Rockridge features affordable, well-maintained and lovingly restored bungalows with a desirable address and a true neighborhood feel.
